True woman of the world, multi-disciplined director Hayley Thom has seen her fair share of the globe. In another life, she’s travelled internationally competing on the windsurfing circuit before trading in her board for a camera. Since then, she’s traversed the humanitarian and corporate sectors, from spanning New Zealand’s length to shooting in Buenos Aires, Shanghai, India and Bangladesh.
As videographer and editor for iconic anthologies The Great New Zealand Cookbook and The Great Australian Cookbook, Hayley’s travelled around the world in 80 plates, capturing world-class chefs in action from oyster boats in Bluff to the Aussie outback.
